Hot Apple Cider

Ingredients

½ Gallon Apple Cider
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Star Anise
1 Cheesecloth

Instructions

Heat saucepan, pour ½ gallon of cider into pan. Heat and stir. When it comes to a boil, lower heat to just below a simmer. Place 1 Cinnamon Stick 1 Star Anise into cheesecloth, tie off. Place into cider. Allow cider to sit on heat for at least 30 minutes.

This can also be done in a crockpot and kept warm for a longer period of time.

Homemade Pumpkin Latté

Ingredients

Shot of espresso
8 oz Choice of milk
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
½ Tbsp. Pumpkin Puree

Instructions

Mix pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice with shot of espresso. Steam milk. Pour milk in with espresso mixture. Add sugar if desired.

If you’re feeling extra spicy, try making your own pumpkin spice syrup which lasts in the fridge for up to three months.

Holiday Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

8 oz Milk (milk to be heated)
2 oz Milk (cold milk)
1-2 Tbsp. Chocolate chips (Dark, Milk, White, flavored or a combination, there are SO many options!)
Marshmallows/ Cinnamon/ Peppermint Stick

Instructions

Place chocolate chips into a mug. Bring milk to a boil, stir constantly. Pour milk over chocolate chips. Stir until chips are fully melted. Add peppermint or cinnamon stick (use for stirring and flavor). Add extra milk that is still cold if desired (I like to add extra milk so I can drink it sooner without burning myself).

If you use dark chocolate it has more nutrients and gives a richer flavour!
